Today’s young people never had it so good. They stay in front of their computers to play games, watch TV episodes and movies, and even talk face-to-face with friends in the comforts of their homes. Now, even applying for jobs are done online, and they’re accompanied by how-to tips from all over. The following Popeyes Chicken online job application is an addition.

The Company

First, you have to be familiar with the company you want to join and the kind of business they are in. Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits (often referred to as just Popeyes) is a chain of fried chicken fast food restaurants, owned since 1993 by the Atlanta-based AFC Enterprises (originally America's Favorite Chicken Company).

Popeyes is the second-largest "quick-service chicken restaurant group, measured by number of units", with more than 1,800 restaurants. These are distributed in more than 40 states and in around 16 countries all over the world. Around 30 locations are owned by the company and the rest is franchised.

Popeyes serves chicken products in two flavors: mild and spicy. They also offer side dishes such as Cajun fries, mashed potatoes, and Cajun rice in regular and large sizes. All combo meals come with a biscuit.

For applicants of Popeyes, you must have a love of chicken food in order for you to join such an outfit. Judging from the number of locations they have, and ranking second-largest in the number of units [food] sold, Popeyes seems to be one good place to have that job.

Random Tips

Most job applications are usually found on the employer’s website. Usually, these are found at the bottom of the page under Careers or Job applications. Some employers have application forms for specific jobs in their company while others only have blanket application forms.

Read the instructions carefully, paying special attention to required boxes and lines. Do not leave any space blank or they will send the application back to you, which can be time-consuming. Many companies won't even consider a partially filled out application.

Write down N/A (meaning ‘not applicable’) on boxes that you have no connection with.

Check every page for correctness before you click on the next button. Some application forms will not bring you back to the previous page. Check very carefully for spelling, numbers (especially the digits), and unfamiliar names of people or places.

Some application forms have features where you may not send it over yet, and that you can go back in case you have not finished. This feature is good for interruptions or breaks where you need to get more information.

Get ready for instant tests or impromptu questions in the middle of the application. Read them carefully before answering. You may not be able to take back your check marks or other computer indications for your answers.

If the form has a section for uploading a résumé, don’t hesitate to include yours. The information might be similar, but it is good to include them, at least for file purposes.

Proofread everything you put down on the application.

Check your email after submitting your application if you have a confirmation email in return from the employer. Keep track how long an application had been on their file. You may reapply after about a month, if you still have not got a job.

For a food company like Popeyes, your choices are varied, especially in urban areas. Our Popeyes Chicken online job application guide might just help you land that job you want.
